"Silent Night" has been a part of every Christmas celebration I can remember. This to me has always been the quintessential lullaby.

There are some melodies that are so beautiful in themselves that attempts to "improve" upon them only serve to dilute their power. Silent Night is one of those. So in this arrangement I have tried only to bring out the sonorous quality of the simple chords that surround the original melody.
